If two variables vary inversely, their product is always a constant. If one variable increases, the other must decrease.
(3)(6) = 18
(36)(x) = 18
x = 18/36 = 0.5

d. 18 is the respond. enable us to be certain the stairs. y = 3 and x = 6 and we are provided that y is inversely proportional to x. So y / x = a million/2 So, while x = 36, y = x. a million/2 = 36.a million/2 = 18

The answer is 1/2 that is c.
b'coz
y varies inversely as x.
so
3/6=36/x
3 X 6 = 36x
( this happens b'coz y is inversely proportional to x)
18/36=x
1/2=x
x=0.5
