Yes. He sticks to his convictions, and although some of the results are not always the best, at least he keeps his word and does what he thinks is best. Why don't you try being President and have every decision you make scrutinized and criticized. It's not an easy job, and it's got to be even harder in the face of such opposition. I may not agree with every decision he makes, but there are A LOT of decisions I don't agree with that Congress and other members of government make.
History is a tough judge. It would be wonderful to have the foresight to know what each decision will mean. Let's look at a few. There's WWII. The American government was fully aware of what was happening to the Jews, but did nothing until we were actually attacked. We were criticized for that.
Then Vietnam, trying not to make the same mistake, we got involved, and then were criticized for that. There are some political situations that are no win situations. In this case, Bush has done what he thought best, and although many don't agree, what would have happened had another course of action been taken. Would more Americans have died due to unabated terrorist activity? Would more Iraq citizens been tortured and murdered by Sadaam Hussien's regime? Most definately.
Some things are just no-win situations and you have to make the best of them.
And America, being America, we will judge our leaders harshly. But that's our perogative, we elected them. Until everyone else's governments are perfect, please keep that in mind.

Honestly...no. But also try to keep in mind that when you ask a question like that it's much like an outsider trying to get involved in a fight between siblings. Siblings can be very hurtful to each other, but woe unto the person from outside the family who enters the fight!
I do not like President Bush. Many of my fellow Americans also do not like him. HOWEVER...he is our president and the OFFICE (even if not always the office holder) rates a certain degree of respect and loyalty. That's the reality.

Not matter what I write, you just want to rub wings with your flock. I'll write this for myself, because I'm proud of the guy I voted for.
Bush is making huge changes in history. Not only did Mommar Qaddafi drop his weapons program when we got Saddam, but by invading Iraq, Bush stopped the underground movement of weapons of mass destruction throughout the whole middle east.
Three of Iran's top generals have defected and are voluntarily debriefing to us as I write to work with the intelligence we had on black market arms, tracing the paths each shipment took, particularly how they changed hands. And who has them now. The big question the world wanted to know is where did the products to make nukes go? We are finding out now. Thanks to the fact that we invaded Iraq.
The proliferation of nukes in the middle east could have spelled disaster not only for this civilization, but for the future of our planet.
Whatever you learned has twisted everything I've written above. I know you will reject even this new information, until your friends tell you otherwise. That is a sad place to be in. You should think for yourself and read from a variety of sources. You say the things you say because it is trendy and you fit in. But the truth is you personally don't have enough information to form opinions. Get it yourself or risk not sounding intelligent.

HELL NO! I do not know what gave you that idea, but get it out of your head now. The latest polls show Bush at all time record lows. I am ashamed that this man is president. Each time he has run I voted for someone else! Bush is a threat to wards world peace and tolerance.

First off a person named blahblahblah cannot be taken seriously. How many terror attacks have occurred in the US since 911? How many terrorists are taking a dirt nap? Peace at all cost Liberalism allowed Hitler to advance across Europe almost unimpeded. Your enemy only respects strength.

Even a casual observor of the USA should recognise that we Americans are very unhappy with this President and not in the least proud of him. Even his own party is jumping ship. Where did you get such an idea? Are you guys (I'll guess in Europe) not allowed to view current news?

As of the latest poll numbers only 28% of the people still support him, so I would say by and large no, no one is very proud of the president oh his criminal and corrupt staff.

Maybe the fact that the president's approval ratings have been in the low 30's for the past year and a half should be a clue to you.
