You cannot patend nature , so is it the medical industry vs nature?

I mean if they cannot make a profit from the natural plants the people have used for medicine traditionally do they try to eliminate the competition by making the plants illegal?

Yes! I agree with you! The Drug Companies are making a fortune! They have become glorified drug pushers. And the physicians are as guilty as they are for writing countless, unnecessary prescriptions to innocent victims they call patients!

Cigarettes have patents and they are made of plants. The medical industry has nothing to do with what is legal or illegal. The FDA controls what drugs can be commercialized. If someone were to patent a narcotic, the FDA would ignore the patent and that person would most likely end up getting arrested for dealing drugs.

The drug war is about how the US chooses to deal with drug users. They want to criminalize them, make them lose their jobs, make them leave their families, or their families leave them. They want to treat people like they are nothing. The war on drugs is just an excuse to hate people. It is a nationalist mob mentality.
