My computer slows down every 10-15 minutes while playing games. It seems to slow down when the memory temperature reaches 140F and then goes back to normal when it gets down to 120F, repeating the cycle. It seems to not slow down for whatever reason when running off the battery. How can I force my computer to use the same settings, that it automatically uses when running on battery, when it is plugged in on AC?

sorry, don't have an answer, but i have a workaround. get a nice aluminum desktop laptop cooler and set it on that, it keeps it so cold that it doesn't need to slow down.
