I test drove a truck and the i could feel a shake in the steering, the dealer said its probably because the truck had been sitting for so long.

I've let vehicles sit for three months and never had that problem.
And even if it did you'd just have a bumpy ride for a while. It wouldn't make the steering wobble. The dealer is trying to sell you a truck with a bad front end.

Short answer: Yes.

Radial tires have a memory. When left in one position for extended periods they can develop a flat spot which will work itself out when driven for a short period. With many high-performance and ultra-high performance tires this can take place overnight. I have this problem on an almost daily basis with my own car. Mercedes Benz even recommends removing the wheels from the vehicle if it is going to be stored for more than a few weeks to avoid the problem.

well hes obviously a bad salesman.
if its been sitting for so long and thats the reason it has a wobble doesnt that tell you know one wants to buy it?
it might wobble because it may need a wheel alignment, it could have a bubble in the tyre, could have been in an accident, and it could have a bent diff , it could be a number of things
Honestly just leave it where it is
