Probably just another con - isn't every grandmother somebodys mother?
Mothers day should suffice.

The is a Grandparents day. National Grandparents Day should be celebrated every year on the first Sunday after Labor Day. For 2007 this will fall on Sept 9th. There are not seperate days for grandmothers and grandfathers.

Yes there is a Grandmothers day and a Grandfathers day, its on Sunday September 9th this year and was founded by Marian H Mcquade in the hope of celebrating the lives of grandmothers and grandfathers and the elderly in general in nursing homes.

There is a grandparents day to recognise grandmothers and fathers. However, I always get my kids to recognise their grandmothers on Mothers Day by sending her a Nan card and present and the same with their grandad on Fathers Day.
