Audio Configuration?

I tried to open my ipod yesterday on my computer. I kept getting an error message saying that ipod can not open becaue of an audio configuration. does anyone know what this means of so please help me

Reinstall iTunes / quicktime it's a bug that has come with the 7.0.2 version of itunes
