The tiles have a slightly raised pattern so they are not smooth. The self-adhesive hooks I've tried won't work and neither will superglue.

I agree with the silicone. make sure the tile is clean before applying. I like to use denatured alcohol as it cleans and dries quickly. Tape the hooks to the wall while the silicone cures. This insures a good bond and will keep them in place while the silicone drys. Clean up any squish out while it is wet.

I use Command Adhesive hooks. They're made by 3M. I have textured walls and I use them to hang my Son's school bag. I've also used them in the kitchen on tile walls, on the wood mantle to hang Christmas Stockings. You just have to follow the instructions precisely and they always stick!!!
