Did you pull the memory card out while the GameCube was still on? That might be the reason why there's no data on your card. Also, if you dropped it, you might have corrupted the data in it.

If the the memory card doesn't work in the future, consiter doing the following to avoid the corruption.

- Never pull the memory card out when the GameCube is on or when the game is saving progress. Sometimes the game will tell you if it's ok to pull it out.

- 3rd party memory cards like MadCatz or Pelican will sometimes get corrupted because of its cheap hardware. Next time, buy a Memory Card made by Nintendo; their hardware is at top form.

- Nintendo has three types of Memory Cards:
Gamecube Memory Card 1019 - $29.99
Gamecube Memory Card 251 - $19.99
Gamecube Memory Card 53 - Free with a GameCube

the numbers indicate how many blocks it can hold. If i were you, i'd save up for the 1019 memory card. I have one, and it's barely full.

If necessary, try using the same memory card on other cubes, or buy a Wii instead. The Wii can also play gamecube games.

I haven't heard of something like this before. Do you know anyone with a GameCube or Wii? Maybe you can try the memory card on theirs. If it doesn't work on another one, the only thing that it could be is that everything got erased.

If everything were erased, it was most likely when the other one stopped working. Other than that, it's just sort of weird.

confident you need to purchase the Wii. The Wii performs gamecube video games and Wii video games. in simple terms shop in mind which you would be able to not use Wii remotes to play gamecube video games. you need to purchase gamecube controllers.
