ive just become an avon rep. ive done it before so i know how avon generally works. only thing is i have been given really rubbish streets and no one will give me back the catalogue- never mind getting an order.

i dont have many friends and family and the ones i do have arn't interested in buying from avon.

how can i get more orders?? ive put a advert in shop windows and ive asked for more streets but they have no streets available just yet.

i cant go delivering at other streets as there is prob another rep around that area and dont want to get on wrong side of other reps.

i cant think what i can do to get more custom as i work on comission and can do with that little extra cash. can anyone think what else i can do to get some more buyers??

serious please as i really want this to work

I was once an Avon rep., but we didn't have assigned territories. We sold to who ever we wanted. I left my books in gas stations, day cares(big hit), I knocked on doors. I made fliers with that said, " Avon Calling", in large bold letters, and wrote all my information on the flier. I opened my own website with Avon. I bought samples, and anyone who made a purchase got something free from me. You know some thing like lip gloss, perfume, earrings... You can put ads in the paper. You can also make money by recruiting new rep.s. You just need to get creative, and be willing to spend a little money. It will pay off if you can handle it. If you can't afford to put money into it, or if you people skills just are not that good than you should try something else. I hope I gave you some good ideas.

Avon is a hard market to sell. Most of my friends do not do well with it b/c most places already have an avon rep. Like businesses and etc. I was going to do avon and changed my mind b/c of that now I do Purse Party and do really well with it b/c there are not a lot of consultants and the market is wide open. Good Luck.

One of my work colleagues is an Avon Rep in her spare time. What she has done is left a few catalogues in the staff kitchens and in Post Room, and then sent an e-mail to everyone in the office introducing herself. And in the run up to Christmas she does another e-mail bringing certain offers to our attention. Also her partner has taken a couple of catalogues to his work, with a label on the front giving her contact details.

i'm an Avon representative and you're maximum truthfully no longer obligated to p.c.. up or pay on your order. in case you have made it sparkling to her which you do no longer choose the products then you certainly ought to easily forget approximately with regard to the telephone calls. she would be able to return the products for an entire refund. i'm sorry you had one in all those detrimental adventure with Avon.

With Arbonne, ther are no territories to limit growth. You might consider it. I am an independent consultant with Arbonne. I can share a little with you. I absolutely love the products and business opportunity. I was able to start my business for only $29. As a consultant, you can either make 35% off of retail sales (at the time of the sale) or a percentage off of wholesale orders (percentage increases with different levels of management). The more wholesale buyers and business builders you sponsor, the bigger your residual check will be.

Arbonne has over 400 consumable, proprietary products made with exceptionally high EUROPEAN STANDARDS of quality. Our products are in 6 key consumer markets including skin care, body care, weight loss, nutrition, aromatherapy, and cosmetics. People are really starting to take better care of themselves. They want to live longer and have healthier lives so the health and wellness industry is a great place to be. Our products are result oriented and people love them!

All of their products are formulated in Switzerland and made in the US so they're unlike any others on the market. They're made with natural botanicals, pure, safe, beneficial, hypoallergenic, pH correct, dermatologist tested, and formulated without alcohol, wax, dyes, chemicals, fragrances, acetone, and mineral oil. The products are revolutionary and result oriented. People love them and Arbonne is booming with over 111% growth every year since 2002 with 164% growth in 2005 over 2004. We more then surpassed that half way through 2006.

Arbonne is stable with over 27 years experience and a leader is the industry, debt free with a low start up cost of $29, no inventory, no sales requirements, no territory to limit growth, free online ordering and toll free ordering with direct shipping to consumers, free online training, committed leadership, Mercedes Benz car program, and the most generous compensation plan in the industry. I can only tell you what would make me buy Avon. I have never met an agent who had enough (or any) samples. How do people buy perfume without smelling it first, or a lippy in case it comes out different on their skin? Get some samples.

Is there a care home or places like that round where you live you could go and ask in there if you can leave a book and pick it up in a week,
Many staff will sit and look through it in there tea breaks and place an order.
Worth a go

Ok, use the internet to generate sales...join groups and networking sites...sell the sizzle not the steak.....tell people how they can transform their lives to join avon. Create articles for the individual products...concentrate on the problems first then offer your solution...the product. Got it?

Good luck...be creative and you will succeed!

Try leaving a couple of the mags. at local corner stores, have friends bring them to work, leave them in waiting rooms at car dealerships, Dr.s offices, nursing homes etc.
