if your having a (period) then you wouldnt be pregnant. depending on the color and amount of blood then yes, you can and many have bled while pregnant and been fine. i would call your ob/gyn and speak to them, it can be a warning sign though if you experience any cramps or pains, shoulder pain too. always calling the dr. is the best although i realize when you have a lot on your mind and are worried and then dr. says they cant see you until....you come here to try to put your mind at ease. it also depends on how far along you are. some people do bleed right around the time they would of normally had their period.
Best wishes,

Its not so much your period that you have... but around the time that you are sappose to start your period you may have a bit of spotting .. but this is all natural its not problem to the baby. Unless the spotting isnt a natural color ... then you may want to get checked out.
