My mouse pointer on my laptop keeps sticking!
How do i make it move smoothly?

Hi,
Try login to ur machine in safe mode with networking
You can get this by keep pressing F8 when ur computer is booting up
Rt.click on my computer->properties->hardware
Click on device manager
You will get listed the drivers for all the hardwares
Click on mouse->Rt.click and uninstall/update
If u uninstall it will be auotomatically install the driver when u reboot ur machine
If u update then it will go to the website to update ur driver
This may works

Touch pad - I can’t stand those things - get a corded optical mouse. The one I have for the laptop is 2 inches x 3 inches.

may be your laptop mouse have some problem in settings
simple question and a simple answer
Goto
start > Settings > Controle panel > Click on Icon name MOuse
then tune your mouse speed on to fast thats it your Laptop mouse will work fast now if it still does't work ask me! again

take the ball out of the mouse the small rollers underneath will be covered in fluff and grime clean them put back ball and try again

If it's not a ball, clean off the pads on the bottom, and use it on a single-colour surface (multi-colours can confuse the laser).

take the ball out and wipe it with a wet cloth
and remove any dust you have inside it
Works for me every time
