Some really like it and others say that it ruins the scenery.

Just saw this for the first time on the news last night. I am not afraid of heights but this one scares me a little. Why would anyone want to do that?
It sort of reminds me of the roller coaster and other rides above the Stratosphere in Vegas....and to have to actually pay $75 for that experience...think I'll save my money for now. Have to agree...it does ruin the natural beauty of the area. What would you see anyway? It would be just for the daring feeling of walking over a massive drop. Like the thrill the base jumpers get.

It looks incredible. I can't wait to actually walk on it.

It doesn't ruin the scenery. It's a view of the canyon that very few had ever had the chance to see. You can see through the walkway to the canyon below.

It may change the skyline by a little bit, but it adds to the views that are available. How can that be a bad thing?

I really haven't been paying much attention. I thought they were talking about Hoover Dam. Over the Grand Canyon? Got to be fantastic. Can't ruin scenery too much. Great for tourists.

Well, it's not the size of the whole Grand Canyon, there is plenty of canyon without that thing being in the way, so it doesn't seem like a big problem to me.

The grand canyon is 300 miles long and the people that complain about one little structure are just insane. I think it is wonderful and hope the Indians make some money off of it. They say you cannot even see it from the bottom it is miniscual compared to the huge scale of the canyon. It does zero harm. Nature freaks are just that freaks.

some says its good because it brings people closer to the rim of the canyon but i am of the opinion that it added another artificially manmade thing to something that supposed to be left alone and just be protected from erosion and other things that will destroy its beauty. we should just appreciate it and leave it as it is and guard it against something that will ruin it beauty and tranquility.

100% opposed. It defiles a natural wonder. I thought Native Americans were in reverence of nature, but I guess they're just as crass and hypocritical as everyone else.

That looks cool, but you know someone's gonna do something really stupid on it at some point, and ruin it for the rest of us.

At first I was really against it, but when I found out that it was going to bring money to a very poor Native American tribe, I thought it was okay.
