increase ur fluid intake - cracked lips can be a sign of dehydration. Moisturise them every morning and throughout the day, i've found the blistex works a treat. If itdosent work, u may need to get some kind of antibiotic cream - it could be an infection.

Burt's Bee's lip balm. Small co. that sells in the states. You should be able to find them online.
I'm the same way: opening my mouth too wide (talking, yawning) can make my lips split and bleed when they're too dry. Thats the problem with full lips (mine are like Angelina Jolie's).

That is awful!!!
I use a lip balm that is made from essential oils with a natural oil base. Have you tried looking at health shops?
Do you have problems with your face being dry, too? Have you seen a skin specialist to see if there is an underlying problem? One of my friends from uni was gluten intolerant and when she ate wheat her lips would puff up and split.
Hope you find something that helps.

Honey. Put some warm or cold honey ony our lips and just apply it on like lip stick. Then just keep them on for a while like 10~15 minutes. Drink plenty of water and try not taking a bath or shaower for a few days, because over doeses of water can acctually dehydrate you.

Do you drink enough water? Your lips are one of the first places on your body to show dehydration if you don't drink enough water. You should drink a minimum of 6-8, 8 ounce glasses of water (about 1/4 liter--I think) each day.

I have had a very similar problem (but not the lipstick bit) and use tthe original Chapstick, made by Wyeth Consumer Healthcare. For me it works very well. Have you tried it? Superdrug, Boots and Sainsbury stock it here abouts - Shrewsbury.

never use vaseline! that is the cause of your problems, it's petrolium which is made from soilidified petrol and it dries your lips out more. use bert's bee's lipbalm, it's amazing.
