Ive always found Fuedal Japan to be an interesting topic. The culture of that country during that specific timeframe is something to be marvled at. The honor and way of life steeped in tradition seems to be something that people rarely utilize in todays modern society. You could spend days if not weeks just researching how swords were made and the ceremonies held for creating them.

Medieval heirarchy always fascinated me. Or maybe you could learn sign language or a second language. Man I wish I had the time to do that stuff again.

And if you learn sign language with your partner or significant other, it's like your own little secret language that you can share regardless of where you are. Nothing better than being at a concert and being able to talk to the person next to you!
