When the very biggest star die they form a red supergaints. Then they explode into a supernova. However, when they collapse, they shrink so much that they virtually vanish from the universe. They may become what are called BLACK HOLES -- bottomless pits from which nothing escapes. Compared to the size of stars and planets, BLACK HOLES ARE TINY. Many could be only the same size across as a medium-sized town. But they are so heavy and dense that their galaxy sucks everything inside them, even light. This means that we can't see black holes. Anything that goes close to one is likely to be crushed. Some scientiststhink that in the middle of our galaxy lies an enormous black hole, surrounded by a mass of ancient red stars.
A BLACK HOLE is an invisible region in space that has enormous pull of gravity. Caused by a collapsed supergaint star.

Black Hole is so named because it looks like a hole which is black in colour.. Due to its intense gravity, light can not escape from it so, it is extremely black.

Mainly because they don't exist you can't see them.
Many prominent scientists believe black holes exist but they have a real hard sell when confronted with some of the vagaries of black holes.
If one could exist, you could only detect it indirectly, maybe if it eclipsed an intervening body.
One is supposed the inhabit the center of the galaxy but the argument propose won't stand up to objective analysis.

You can't see the black hole itself, of course, but the accretion disks around them produce X-rays, which can be imaged. There are some pictures from Chandra at the link.

You can't see a black hole as nothing even light escapes from it and it is known as 'black hole' where nothing is visible in space, simply black (no colour, no light, hence not visible).

no one can see black hole because the gravity of black hole is so high that even light gets sinked into it.....hence black hole appears dark............
