I basically met my brother after 20 years of not in any respect assembly him yet in undemanding words understanding about him... I not in any respect idea i'd have those style of emotions in the route of him , he and that i are a lot alike and it befell in the destiny basically those days and we are able to not quit we experience as if we are no longer sister and brother it replaced into so dreamy romantic extreme below the evening sky it replaced into each thing I actually have felt the which technique of creating love replaced into. It felt organic and organic , yet I felt like some thing replaced into incorrect with me who am i able to tell who am i able to share this with i'm scared for it to leak out i respect him with all my heart. i think that he will not in any respect damage me he's no longer basically an effortless guy he's closer he's like me i'm in love with my my 1/2 brother.

There are only a few basic stories really and The Odyssey is a really good one. All stories are re-hashed and have been forever. One example I can think of is High Noon being re-made set in space with Sean Connery. Can't remember what it is called. Good film though.

Has it occurred to any of y'all that MAYBE Homer's version wasn't their inspiration? Perhaps, they read Joyce's "Ulysses", which is also based on the Odyssey.
Turn off the t.v. once in a while and read something other than People magazine.

the Odyssey is a great story & the coen brothers film doesn't really come close to it much. it's very loosely based around it.

Its great framework. Besides quite a few love stories are based on Romeo and Juliet.

It probably inspired the movie in the first place. Without basing it on this....there would have been no movie. That would be sad, because it's an awesome movie.

The Protagonists in each story have similar goals - return home after a long absence to restore their home and family.

There are things that we can still learn about ourselves, as the tale is rather mythic.
If you think about it, "The Little Mermaid" is Faust for kids, "The Lion King" is Hamlet Lite and "Pocohontas" is Romeo and Juliet that ends happier

They just borrowed the basic story. Besides, I thought the music was great.
