Each week I have one day remaining on my weekly bus ticket to use - rather than waste it I offer it to a stranger at the bus stop. They are amazed and so ever grateful, in turn it makes me happy that I have actually helped somebody.

Both my grandparents died within one month of each other 4 months ago. They lived in Canada and I live in Virginia. It was my mom's parents and she had to be gone for a month. My mom and dad take care of my nephew so while she was gone I made sure she had no worries here. For 2 weeks she had no pay so I talked to some people she worked with and took up a collection for her so she would have money when she got home to do what she wanted to with and to take the stress off of her financely from missing so much work. Me and my finacee paid for her and my dad to go away for the weekend whenever she felt like. He could not be up there with her because of his job. They took the little vacation and my mom felt alot better being able to spend the time with my dad away from here. I made sure for that time I put my mom first after all she took care of me for so many years that was the least I could of done for her.

The daughter of my childhood neighbours, also a friend of my little sister, sent me a flower postcard for the Women's Day. That was so sweet! Especially so that she took all the trouble of finding out my contact details through her and my parents. (I left the country long time ago). It made my week.
