I received an enquirie from a relitive in the USA about coming here to live. The reason for this is that they had a very good book store and doing very well until the last couple of years. More and more of their customers have turned to the net for their books and when they want something special and go to the store to find it they don't want to pay the extra costs it takes to get it. The store will close after school is out and they will look for another place to live.

So do you suport your local people or do you buy your books and other items on line???

I love Amazon.com for books and other media. For most titles, there will be one or more sellers offering used copies. Amazon sellers generally treat their customers very well, as they need to maintain a high positive feedback score.

The majority of my purchases are thru amazon.com. The other purchases are made at Barnes & Noble (I will physically go into the store).
