Do you mean do you make more milk for a male child than a female? Not particularly. As long as you are exclusively breastfeeding and the baby is able to nurse normally then you make enough milk to meet your baby's needs. Being male or being female does not affect those needs. Factors that may have an impact on your milk supply are baby's weight, baby's activity level, how much water you are intaking in a day (Mommy needs lots of water) and how often you nurse.
Good for you for nursing you wee one! If you need more help go to www.lalecheleague.org They will give you free advice on breastfeeding.
All the best to you!

Mother nature has designed breastmilk to automatically be tailored for the baby. If the baby (m or f) needs extra fat, the milk will naturally have it. If the baby needs more iron (m or f), the milk will automatically adjust. Amazing how mother nature is.
This is why a pregnant mother is not supposed to nurse. The milk she is producing will automatically conform to the needs of the fetus instead of the already born child thus causing the breastfed baby to get deficient amounts of calories/iron/minerals. etc.
Breast milk is best but each mother's milk is specially formulated for the baby they nurse. No two mother's milks are exactly the same. No two babies are the same. Therefore, the milk weight will be different based on the babies' needs, not the gender. Some female babies need more fat than some males. Sometimes vice versa, and that can change at any given time.
hope that answers your question.

A mother's milk changes from hour to hour, day to day, to meet the specific needs of her child. And her milk includes antibodies to whatever she and her child have been exposed to lately. Her milk would likely be slightly different for each child, reguardless of sex, because it would be tailored to meet the needs of that particular child at that particular moment in his/her development and environment.
