At first I thought it was sweet that she was crying over everyone, but by the end of the show, it was just plain annoying. Her parents definitely should take her to see a therapist. Something's not right.

she wasn't crying over just him--there were other performers who were bringing tears. i just chalk it up to being a star-struck girl who got a chance to see her idols live. i should think that being in the audience would move anyone--there's some great talent on the show. no therapy--she's normal. too bad Sanjaya isn't that talented. he's just merely OK. again, though he delivered his personal best, he doesn't belong on the show. he's by far the weakest of the group.

I think she had something in her eye, because she seemed to be in pain. Also, she didn't just cry for Sanjaya, she was crying when Melinda sang too.
Man, you answerers above are mean. She's just a girl, girls her age cry all the time, I felt bad for her cuz they wouldn't take the camera off of her, I think the camera people are cheap labor, because the cameras always seem to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.

No, i think it was all set up because Sanjaya sucks so bad. But I do have to say that last nights performance by him was the best yet!!!

She is just a very young girl who has a crush on sanjaya and was probably overwhelmed by being there.

No more so than any other fan or groupie that totally loses it when their favorite performs. We may not all agree with who she chooses to go "bonkers" over but that doesn't qualify her as needing therapy. C'mon, she's what? 10, 11 years old! Who were you crazy about when you were that age? Most of us were crazy about someone at that age.

I walked in the room while my family was watching that joke of a show, and I seriously thought she was crying because he was so horrible. They didnt look like tears of joy. I laughed and laughed. She seriously does need help.
