No it won`t take. All man made materials are almost impossible to dye and 100% polyester will not dye, it won`t absorb it. A cotton mix will dye but the shade will be different. Generally it`s not worth the hassle.

Polyester does not take dye easily. It usually barely takes it at all.

Try to find a fabric dye made specifically for polyester, go to a fabric store and buy a small piece to try it and see how it turns out.

No it will not dye and will look manky!!!!!
faux fur is not expensive so just buy one in colour required, at least then you have 2 great ones instead of 1 ruined one.

I don't know, but I just read in the paper today that some of what is being sold as faux fur is really Chinese dog fur.

nope, polyester does not dye. if it does pick up the colour its so pale its not worth it. dye only really works on cotton.
