de·ism
[dee-iz-uhm]
–noun
1. belief in the existence of a God on the evidence of reason and nature only, with rejection of supernatural revelation.
2. belief in a God who created the world but has since remained indifferent to it.

Yep, Deism it is.

Agnostic is the uncertainty of belief in a deity, or religious direction. Agnostics usually do not know if there is a god or not, and so do not commit themselves either way. Most Agnostics are raised with religion around them, but choose science over faith, and so there is a conflict of logical versus theological.

Atheism is the denial of higher force. Atheism relies on science as an explanation for all things in the universe.

Deism is the belief in a god, or higher creator, or some form of superior being, without acknowledging that god or creator as an object of worship. Many people with this belief believe that a god is responsible for the creation of the world and man, but has little to do with day to day human life.

A Deist is one who believes in the existence of a God, but denies revealed religion; a freethinker.

An Anogstic disavows knowledge or phenomenon of a deity, which is a branch of philosophy. Anogsticism is neither denial or assertion of super power or supernatural places because of the limits of human perception.

Take your pick. A good book on the subject: "God's Funeral".

You WORSHIP a FALSE God ,you have FAITH and BELIEF in whatever God you believe in and whatever religion you practice...faith and belief shouldn't be labelled...faith is faith...it's as simple as that...there is a word to describe someone who believes but is of no particular religion..I think it's Agnostic...and I am one...you don't need ritual to have faith...and you don't NEED to go to church.

I call it recognition of a higher power.

And no i don't feel the need to fall on my knees to him/her/it either.

But I'm pretty sure he/she/it's there.
