God is same for all countries, he cannot descriminate among different teams, victory or lose depends upon the efforts, determination, will power of a team. So based on these factors the team will win or loose, your poojas or tapus can only satisfy you and will have no bearing on the ultimate result. So who ever wins the cup feel happy, after all it is a game.

Everyone's beliefs are different. Personally, I believe that any god would have better things to do than watch the World Cup. I think that teams win by themselves.

May Ireland could have prayed better. It is not only done by prayer. Prayer will help u to move towards the goal without hesitation and not without obstacles. Obstacles has to be crossed only by the efforts.

No, prayer/ puja has no effect. Only practise, hard work, effort, concentration, application, discipline etc. matter on the field.

I don't agree. I think it's practice, hard work, determination and honesty that matters but one can console himself with prayers and pujas.

prayer is good.
but one cannot rely on prayer only. every player has to work hard together with faith to move towards success.

faith is everything.I feel that rituals along with practice makes a great combination not only in cricket but in everything we do.As far as pak is concerned i think they lacked practice.
