Behind my home is a small pond full of wildlife...I find myself there whenever I need solitude and a boost from Mother Nature. My other fortress of solitude is a special room in my mind.

when i meditate i retreat to my inner forest,
where there is no language,
or emotional rhetoric,
no psychological detritus spewed on
my landscape of my hidden inner forest ~

i like to bury myself in my work. when that gets too much i head for the river or if i really want to hide i head for the coast.
