I took the morning after pill at the beginning of the month, i took it within 8 hours (as recommended). My period was meant to be 9days ago, but i am late. Could i be pregnant or is this a side effect to the morning after pill? I took a pregnancy test a couple of days ago and that was negative. Im confused and dont know what to do.

If you took the morning after pill, chances are you are not pregnant. Between the pill itself and being nervous, you could skip a period entirely.
I would make an appt with my doctor just to be sure. That way you can put your mind at ease.

No no no, it very well could be a side effect. The pill has been known to totally mess up your period schedule so don't worry. But you know, there will ALWAYS be that possibility of a pregnancy (no 100% way not to get pregnant other than just not doin it) so just keep an ear out and see what other symptoms you recieve. If you're really worried take a test or see a doctor.

sometimes the pill can do this i say wait a week and if you still havent had a period then go to your gp. But i have to tell you i fell pregnant twice on the pill.god luck

Morning after pill can mess your body up a bit so give it some more time and dont panic- yet!

I would wait another week and if your period doesn't come take another test!If it's still negative,I would see your Dr.!!
