ermmm.. ok.... can anyone tell me why I am suddenly getting inundated with offers of people to connect on yahoo with me? Ive been here since June - and have only been asked to connect up with people since last week!!!

Well.. It could be that I saw a question in polls and surveys the other day someone asked who's best to talk to on here and someone said Pamela O and they were selected as best answer and the person who's Q it was agreed with them that you were nice in their comments... Maybe that had something to do with it?

No offense....but I think they are hitting add to contact when the profile comes up and stays there forever!!! I, all of a sudden got about 20 of them (before my account was deleted and I had to start over),,,I could be wrong, maybe everyone just likes you all of a sudden, but something is fishy!!!

This is also happening to me to. Consider it a compliment as a new feature on yahoo. You are someone who is considered interesting and intelligent enough to be a contact. Good luck

it's all new, you don't have to add people as contacts but you can have them as fans, it shows that that person likes your answers/questions it's quite flattering really
if you don't want them as contacts just delete the email from yahoo answers and they'll just be fans but if you want them as a contact as well click on the first link on the email
