If you are going to travel to a country without knowing anyone. Would you make friends on the net before going to that country or just wait 'til you get to that country & meet people from there?

Personally I would wait until I got there and met people face to face so that you could get to know them properly. You can't always trust people you meet on the net, they may not even be who they say they are.

You don't know who you are dealing with on the net so I'd say wait until you get there. Meeting peple face to face is better than on the net.

Probably both. Although you really do not know who you are talking to. If you have a certain hobby- you could possibly meet them this way. Are you going to live there forever or just for two weeks? If you are just traveling I would say do not even bother.

I prefer face to face meetings. A person sets the standards to high after talking to some via typing, then could be let down by the face to face.

I would go and meet friends. i met a couple of people on the net afew years back. its just wierd you dont know them really, they arew just strangers .plus they could be dangerous i will never meet up with ppl on the net agian i think.

one thing i can tell u. not all the people on the net seem what they r on the real world. so b careful when u make friends

this can be danger to u. how could u trust the people u met on net probably they hide their actual identity to u. so be aware about such people and trust only on authorized guide than make friend.
