Only 8, because the cast wanted to move on to bigger and better things... Let's hope it's a spin off or a movie. :)

There was a total of 8 seasons and they ran from October 7th 1998 – May 21st 2006
In Season 1 there was episodes 22 Ran 1998 – 1999
In Season 2 there was episodes 22 Ran 1999 – 2000
In Season 3 there was episodes 22 Ran 2000 – 2001
In Season 4 there was episodes 22 Ran 2001 – 2002
In Season 5 there was episodes 23 Ran 2002 – 2003
In Season 6 there was episodes 23 Ran 2003 – 2004
In Season 7 there was episodes 22 Ran 2004 – 2005
In Season 8 there was episodes 22 Ran 2005 – 2006

Charmed had 8 seasons. It began in 1998 and ended in 2006. The 1st 7 seasons are on DVD.

It was seasons 8 or 9 i think, and now rerun on living and out on DVD aswell from seasons 1 to 6 I think so, Aaron Spelling who are productor of the show has died last year ( rest in peace). so don't know if they are making more in future? its was good series so far.
