I made punch the other day. it was tasty punch.
I don't think it really justifies me being here. but it was good punch.

If you were looking for the meaning of life, well i'm sure it's not punch. I believe it could well be sex.
Well, procreation if you will.
after all, the ability to reproduce got us this far right?

If you just wanted us to justify why we are here, well...
Well I'm not sure that i can provide a long-term answer. So as an interim answer, try making the world a better place?. At least until our civilisation can work out why we are really here. That could do the trick i guess.

By golly that punch was good though.

Everyone uses that "make civilization better" excuse for everything. Well i personally dont think thats what we're here for, i mean we can try and maybe suceed a little but in the end the next generation may just as well screw it all up again. There is nothing you can do that cant and wont be undone. Sad to say, the justification of my existence lies on the fact that i'm not a mindless clone. I wasnt taught, or brought up to think the way i do. Its my origional take on things, not someones who lived two thousand years ago. Thinking for yourself is a rare gift. Not to be swayed by the media or church or government means that you can have an opinion about things, and not just have to think that its the way things have to be because someone else said so or its tradition.

Justifying my existence would assume that there is a right or no right in being here. What has a right and what hasn't is a concept made by humans, not the birth of my creation.

I exist because I exist.

I justify my existence by telling you that I am here for a purpose, I have been thrown into this human race to give out whatever little contribution I can make towards life itself. And then ofcourse to those around me. My existence is justified because of all the people who love me, and who at some point or the other need me. We are talking about my existence, not just to contribute a little of me, and for people who love me, but also for those who may detest me, hate me and for people whom I dont care for too..because everyone, just about everyone is influenced by my presence, negatively or positively. There I exist.

Existence is meaningless without understanding everything. As an existentialist, I believe everything is connected so to know one thing you must know all of the others. I could not possibly know everything and so I have no interest in justifying one thing!

I am a living and breathing and walking person. I go to school everyday i work on the weekends i doubt my own existance so therefore i exist. GOD put me here for a reason so thats my justification.

I exist. Be it by chance or providence or an accident. But 21 years ago molecules and cells and genes came together at the right circumstance at the right conditions at the right time

That is justification enough.

Someone has to pack up the old BI cases at my law firm and ship them off to the storage site! If I didn't exist, they'd just pile up to the ceiling until there was no office space left. Also, who'd give my fiance a massage every night?

Been trying to do that my whole life and it's brought me nothing but unhappiness. So i won't, not because i honestly can-for i can not, but because if i answered that question it would mean i'm still a pimply 14 year old over weight girl with a burning face and a desire to prove to herself first and the whole wide world second that she has got as much a right to live as the next person, right?! right??!. (and i would like to think i've outgrown her :S)

As I am answering this question, I must exist in some form, regardless of whether I am an independant being, or some program.
