I do not find any reason for banning cricket in India as it is a money minting game in India. Success and defeat are part and parcel of every game and few defeats or bad performance do not warrang banning of a game.

Indian people are cricket mad and we all need something care about more than exams and turning up to the sweat shop.

So, I would assume the Indian government doesn't want rioting in the streets, so I would assume no.

Cricket is almost like a religion in India. You can't ban a religion. That would be the end of civilisation!

Cricket is a religion in India. I dont think any government will have to guts or will to do it. Even if they do it, it cannot be made applicable
