I have approx 3 weeks left of the above before I have to renew. I have just been notified by them by e-mail that a further 1 years subs.will be £39.99. I went to their Web site only to discover the same security suite is on offer at £24.99. Whats going on. Im very pleased with McAfee, but do you think they will allow me to renew using the cheaper offer.

yes they should especially as you are an existing customer, what ever happened to rewarding loyalty.

email them and say if they don't allow you to have it at £24.99 you will be forced to use norton.

dont use AVG, i don't know why peole rate it so highly, i used it briefly and it was nowhere near as good as McAfee or Norton. How could it be if its free? They won't have money to develop it properly.

lets get first one thing right, are u saying that u will have to pay 24.99 for a new version or just the a one year subscribtion.
if that is the case then inform them that u a client and this is the offer made by them.

if u r saying that mcafee security suite the one u already have installed is for 24.99 then it is old version and then u will have to pay them more for an extra subscription.

No McAfee isn't to any extent further perfect than the different software obtainable at catching viruses and malware, the up shot to courses like McAfee and Norton are they many times supply you different risk-free practices and hardware upkeep innovations than the loose courses do, Microsoft risk-free practices necessities is diverse than different loose courses regardless of the undeniable fact that, it grow to be designed to objective to cut back risk-free practices issues of domicile windows, and does it ok.

Nope that's just to wind in new customers. You would be better off letting it go, uninstalling Mcafee and installing AVG free from http://www.free.grisoft.com It wont cost you a bean and it's an excellent antivirus. If you want anti-spyware the get Spybot search and destroy from http://www.spybot.info which is also an excellent free product.

Absolutely. The price often drops as you get closer to your renewal date. Take the best price you see, even if you're a current subscriber.
Having stated that, I'm a former McAfee user and don't intend to go back cause I get F-secure free through my ISP and its superior.

I am not a fan of the McAfee Security package at all, I found a better one that is free-try www.grisoft..com. I think it is much better.
