I have a laptop at work that has been set up in a funny way. Basically i have a username/password for use when it is disconnected from the corporate LAN, also a user/pass for use on the network. I have info saved onto the user that i use when connected to the network, but need to access this info when the computer is offline (through the other user/pass). But currently i cannot.

Can anyone tell me how this can be acheived??

Many thanks.

The easiest way is to save your documents to the "shared documents" folder. Then any and all users will have access to them.

Without knowing a little more about your network that would be the easiest answer. When at work and you log in you may be logging into a domain and where documents get saved depends on how that network is setup. You probably save them locally and to the server at the same time but all depends on the system. Some systems only save documents in this setup on the server.

You should be able to open your C from My Computer click on that C drive browse to the Documents and Settings and see both of your user profiles. If your documents are in the "other" folder just open that folder and you will find your office documents.

take the information you want to access and save it on a sandisk/ flashdrive and take it from the one user name and put it on the other when signed in.
