my girlfriend is making me unsure if we will get along when we get married. We are planning to get married this summer but her attitude kinda makes me want to bac off. She expects me to say i'm sorry when i make her upset but she does not do the same thing to me. When we are in the house she does want to have conversation but we go out then she wants to be all over me. She will start a conversation with me and when i join she will be like i don't feel like talking, only wants to have conversation when she wants to but not when i have something to say to her. i come home from work and she will already be sleeping by 10:00pm and the only word she will say is how was work and that is it till she wakes me up in the morning to say bye i'm off to school or work. i told her several times that and pointed it out to her and she still not changing. i do not have friends who are females and all i wanted is to make her my best friend. What should i do?. i love her so much and is killing me.

Not all relationships are going to be your best friend right away. If you are looking for that, then you are setting yourself up for failure. In relationships, everything isn't always reciprocal and if you expect everything to be that way, then you also are setting yourself up for failure. Relationships are give and take. If you honestly feel that she is taking and taking, then you have to ask yourself if its worth it in the end.

Flat out ask her if she's really interested in getting married. Has she just begun to act like this? She could just be scared. It is a big thing and not to be taken lightly. Ask her if she'd like to go and talk to a councillor with you. You don't have to rush into this. Do whats right for the both of you, don't let others push you into the marriage.

to me she sounds Very selfish and self centered. Maybe she is the one getting cold feet so in return trying to see if she cant chase you away instead of breaking up with you. you never said how long you have been together so kind of hard to tell if she has always been this way. If she has KICK HER TO DA CURB.

She sounds like high maintenance. Ask yourself this in order to find out the answer of marriage - Is she worth it?

i think that you already know the answer to your question. what do you think she will be like after you have been married a little while my opinion she will get worse and more selfish

Dump her it will not work, she is self centered. It's better to know now than after marriage and go through divorce.

tell her straight up that you will not take no more crap and if it keeps going on, u'll break up with her.
