Yes you can have a pet duck as i had one when i was about 10 we used to feed him dandelion leaves which he loved they do like to be let out of there enclosures to stretch there wings some people have there wings clipped so they can't fly away can't remember if ours did. If you do get a duck remember to give it a pond dig hole in ground like a little fish pond type thing.

Ducks are great pets. Especially if you raise them and handle them very often as ducklings. They really help with the mosquito and fly control in the warmer months. I have more than 10 right now.

ducks make fine pets! I use to keep pet ducks around my rabbit cages and they would chase/eat the flies. They will get very tame and even come when called.

yes, I know someone who keeps a couple of ducks in their garden, as pets. They are so comical. I also have a friend who has 4 chickens as pets, they are all rare breeds and reallly attractive.

YES! i rescue wildlife, i own two ducks that can't be released cause they are tame!! they love being here, they walk in and out of the house as if they own it, one walks right up to my cooker!!!! but only to look at her reflection in the chrome, she talks to herself. i take the other one for walks in the countryside, he loves it. i really must say, they make fantastic pets. Just make sure that ur vet will tend to your duck if he/she needs one, cause quite often vets won't do ducks!
