I agree with Lance (hence, his thumbs-up!)
I would buy it from Wal-Mart or Best Buy or Comp USA or Microcenter.
Don't buy it online. While not everyone is a cheat, there are possibilites for foul play.
If you still insist, you can check e-bay for the best variety and prices.

There are quite a few good sites to buy a PS3 from. You can get some massive discounts as well - a good example is http://ps3bible.com/Playstation-14210711-Consoles.html where the 60GB PS3 is now cheaper than the 20GB PS3

Wal-mart or another reputable site like circut city or best buy. Don't take chances with someone you don't know, that's a lot of money so spend it wisely.
