I am a computer professional ... I get paid for working on my PC or any machine ... designing them, programming them, tuning them, etc etc ... alright thats my excuse ! ... what about you ? ... what don't you guys get a life and enjoy the real world !?!?!?

I am a loser too then..coz i am a programmer....i code for hours every day..then do testing...and bug fixes .. etc .. etc.. anyways i love the virtual world..it's safer than the real world and dats why I am here. of course the best part is the anonymity it offers

I would say not. Some people have to be on the computer due to their profession. Some people are disable so the computer and internet is their only source to the outside world as many can't go dancing, do sport activities etc. The use of the computer and the internet can open up all kinds of new doors for people as in the way of making friends, furthering their education, simple research projects etc.
So to say they would be losers is not even close to the truth.

Maybe and this is just maybe, they don't have to get a life as you put it. There are some people who DON'T have to work and the house or apartment is already clean and they have nothing to do, so they spend time on the puter. And you call them losers? I think you're jealous more than anything. And NO, I am not one of them. I work seven days a week. five or six hours every single weekday and 1 or 2 every Saturday and Sunday.

I am in the real world! I'm at home taking care of my son. It doesn't get more real than that. I sneak on the computer if I get a few minutes to spare.

Many jobs are computer based these days...if for no other reason than the ability to electronically communicate and distribute. So no matter how hard you try you still the same looser we are.

i take about 30minutes out of my day to unwind and visit yahoo answers and chat with my friends. I so have a life and i just don't sit infront of this screen. it is fun for a while and then it's back to reality outside in the air...
