We have a real chance to make April 23rd, our nations day a bank holiday. If you are in agreement then please vote and also please send this to as many people as possible as it's all about numbers .

Already voted and passed onto Friends and we have posters up in our Pub asking people to vote.
Also we are planning a weekend long celebration in the pub of English Food, Beer and Games to celebrate the event.
And yes we will be flying the Flag of St George no matter what those PC idiots say.

Although I support St Georges Day, and I believe it should be a Bank Holiday, I would like to see the Monday after Remembrance day give over as Veterans Day or Thank you day, were we thank those who have fought for us.
Another reason for this would be because we already have several Bank Holidays in March/April/May, and none between August and December, so it would fit nicely.
