I had a boring day, the town had an rubbish concert on in Omagh Co Tyrone, Northern Ireland, I was visiting my mother because the next day was Mother's day, I did'nt do much but had a few drinks in with my folks, the weather was awful, it was very very windy and wet, but St Paddys Day is always boring to me but you im sure it's great.

My hubby and I went over to Dublin to spend the weekend with our friends who live there, we had an amazing time and the craic was just brilliant as usual, the weather wasn't that brilliant but it didn't matter we had our laughter and love to keep us warm.

St. Patrick didn't drink, I don't think he would approve of his name being celebrated by binge-drinking. The 17th of March is also St. Joseph of Arimathea's day. I spent the day travelling to Wicklow to visit my mother as the next day was mother's day (and St. Edward's day).
