I asked you to be realistic. Due to Manchester United's debt they can only afford one 'big' player each season.
There's no way that they could afford Berbatov and Owen Hargreaves, that £700million debt is still there.

I think that only Liverpool and Aston Villa will be able to compete with Chelsea this summer.
Riquelme and Ronaldinho have both said that they would never play for Manchester United so J B I think that this is a little optimistic, also as I said before United couldn't afford the players, maybe Hargreaves, but for United to sign more than one player means that they will have to sell first.

I support Reading and I'd love to see Darren Bent join us when Charlton get relegated.
Also Freddy Adu would be a great addition (it was rumoured he was coming on loan in January)
Most of all I would just like Steve Sidwell to stay though.

Magpies.
Needless to say, we need to shore up the backline and I think Vincent Kompany would be a solid addition. He's a quality centreback, quick and strong. And at his age, he can be a part of the club's long term plans, though he wouldn't come cheap.
More realistic targets would be Anton Ferdinand, Olaf Mellberg and Matthew Upson.
I'd like to see Jonathan Woodgate back as well. He was a class act for us (though a little injury prone) and was an option available on the cheap. He is familiar with the setup and would have been able to contribute immediately. Roeder should be kicking himself for letting him go to Boro instead.
On the left, Wayne Bridge or John Arne Riise. Bridge has got the pace and mobility and Riise's got a good array of passes and a threat from set pieces. They'll provide much needed consistency and width.
Up front, I'd like to see Roeder field Albert Luque. Luque is a quality attacker and everyone who's seen him at Deportivo knows what he can do, which was why we forked out the money for him in the first place.
He's not doing alot on the pitch at the moment, but surely he'll be able to contribute more if he was on the pitch longer than if he was on the bench.
We don't have alot of options upfront, we don't have alot of dough right now to get around that, but we do have Luque, so just frickin field him for chrissakes.
It'll be nice to see Roeder trying harder , if he's still around in the summer.

My favorite club is Liverpool. The Spanish players seem to do very well at the club, so I'm going to go with someone like David Villa. I guess we already have adequate strikers and fowards, but maybe he could bring a little more something-something to the attack. A little spark, maybe, who knows.

Liverpool
S Downing - him and Riise on the left would be awesome.
Simao - he is awesome and can play on either side. We might actually be able to afford him now.
Would like Berbatov, but Spurs won't sell him and he'd cost loads. Need a striker to replace Bellamy.
Scott Carson to return and replace that stupid Pepe Reina.

I’m a Liverpool supporter.
To be honest I think that we need several new players, and thankfully it seems that Rafa will get the money to spend on these new imports.
I would like to see us sign Samuel Eto’o and David Villa, I reckon this may cost around £50million to get both but it would be well worthwhile.
I agree with above that Micah Richards would be a great acquisition for Right Back. He will probably cost us around £10million.
Roberto Ayala is available on a free this summer and his experience would be of great benefit to the back line. At 32 he is still able to offer us at least 2-3 seasons and I think that this would be a shrewd acquisition. He’s still one of the best Centre Halves in the World.
Getting Scott Carson back will be like a new signing.
I would like to see us go for Daniele De Rossi from Roma. Reports suggest that Roma are looking for around £17million for him, but by signing him we’d be showing the door to Bolo Zenden whom I think we could get maybe £2million for.
I would then say that we would need someone like Stewart Downing and I think that we could get him for around £15million.
Djibril Cisse is due back as well so maybe a sale of him could recoup around £8million, we could also sell Florent Sinama-Pongolle or Flo-Po as he’s affectionately known and his cousin Anthony Le Tallec (I know there is little family resemblance but they are indeed cousins). I reckon we may get around £4million for the two.
I think that Harry Kewell may also be on his way out for around £3million.
So that leaves about £25million left to spend out of the “at least £100million” that Rafa has been promised for his summer shopping spree.
I would like to see us then go for Simao I reckon that we could get him for around £12million.
I would then like to see Rafa invest the remaining £13-15million on promising youth players from around the World. Look at what Wenger has done at Arsenal and to be fair to him Alex Ferguson has done with Cristiano Ronaldo £10million investment, if he was to sell him now he could probably request at least 3 times that price, and what a player (Diving aside).

Arsenal, and I would like to see us signing Frank Ribery, now that all the speculation has died down a bit. So that when it happens, it'll be like "BAM!"
Liverpool(my 2nd team), I would like for Mr. Benitez to sign David Villa, then the strike force is complete.
