Pentium is not a motherboard,it's a processor. It may well be that to get the processor you want you have to fit a new motherboard which would almost certainly need you to supply it with DDR RAM. You also need to make certain that the motherboard has the right connectors for your hard drive, that sound, modem and graphics are built onboard if you dont have seperate cards. If your old mobo did not accept P4 processors then it is possible that the power supply connectors are also different, just count the pins to be sure. I've probably forgotten something but that will be fixable, this is all the important stuff to consider.

There is going to be a shipload of drivers for your current hardware. You will need these drivers in advance of changing the motherboard because, once you make the change, you might not be able to work on the PC. Go to the manufacturer's web sites for you video card (or you could get one on the new motherboard) sound card (same there), etc., and download the drivers for all of your hardware so that you can install them once you get up and running.
