Finish the page, maybe color over it if possible and try again on another page.

I would start on a new page. The messed up one had to go. I was like that on school copy books too. They were very skinny in the end. In fact, I don't think I ever grew out of it...

it depends on if i was coloring the page for someone or if i was just coloring, if i was trying to make it special for someone i would start over.
