Depends on your Tariff.
My 3 Mobile Tariff gives me free access on Yahoo pages plus 30mb per month for the rest of the internet. And to be fair it's more than enough for my uses. And thats part of my £15 a month tariff with free minutes etc etc.
I think T-Mobile's Web 'n' Walk is the only unlimited net access package at a reasonable price, £7.50 on top of the tariff you choose.

It depends.
For Verizon Wireless, if you have a data package, which you'd get if you got a smartphone or Blackberry, you're going to get charged by the kb. If you don't, which is more common for those w/ Mobile Web-enabled phones, you're charged by the minute of airtime. Which means you can fiddle w/ Mobile Web w/ impunity if you use it during Unlimited Nights and Weekends.
