Hey man, the best in anybody can be seen when one is faced with a lot of critics. It's how you deal with it.
As for Kobe, he's getting a lot of attention cause he's one heck of a player. Why'd you think there are so many people out there keeping close tabs on everything Kobe does both on and off the court? That's the price that comes for being an NBA superstar.
As for them haters, just leave them be. Nothing can be resolved by fighting with these guys. Let's just go about our business and appreciate the greatness that is Kobe Bryant. These haters will hopefully one day realize that they were once in the presence of greatness but were too blind to actually see it.

Look, I'm a Laker fan and don't like Kobe.....All you previous Laker greats (Magic, Kareem, Wilt, Jerry, Elgin, Worthy, Goodrich) were all unselfish players. They sacrificed their personal goals for championships. Kobe definitely wanted to be a scoring champ like MJ and last year when we had a chance to beat Phoenix (up 3 games to 1) in the playoffs and soon as the media started talking about the Lakers being a better team with them moving the ball around and Kobe scoring only 20pts or so, he set out to prove them wrong and go for his 40pts and still try and win. But it never happened, a great opportunity down the drain because Kobe has his own goals....

These people are just so incredibly maladjusted it's beyond hilarious. They for some reason swear they can gather the real people these players are thru the pixels on their monitors/TVs as announcers talk to them for 15 seconds after a half. Just sad people not don't have a firm grip on the difference between fantasy and reality really.
They're as bad as the people who cry that NBA players make too much money. The main performers in a billion-dollar industry make too much eh?? You don't hear them saying that about pop music artists -- half of them who can hardly sing, aren't producers or songwriters -- and their only discernable talent is a cute face and an ability to learn dance steps. I mean, if you think NBA players don't deserve their money, just state that you think socialism is best for America.
Anyways, probably 80% of NBA players are "arrogant"; no one makes it to this level without being so self-assured when everyone is saying what you can and can't do since you were 14 years old. This "arrogant" label gets thrown around because people just need something to justify their idiocy.

Kobe doesn't deserve to be hated. The people who hate him are either jealous of him or think that he plays basketball selfishly. I like Kobe and I think that he is a very good basketball, whether you like him or not.
