My computer is now starting up quite fast after I fixed it. Now there's another problem. Everytime I click on a program after the computer loads it takes ages for it to pop up. I believe it took one over 2 minutes to pop up, which is very unusual. I don't know what's wrong. Is there some kind of setting I can tweak in order for the process not to be so delayed? Any help would be very much appreciated thank you!

Those programs didn't really help. I remember going into the msconfig settings, and changing something because I saw some tweaks online, and I can't even remember what I did. I hope someone can help me.

This tends to fall into the "if you can't remember what you did then you shouldn't be doing it"

Sometimes disabling or enabling processes at random can upend and degrade system performance. I would look into checking for spyware.
