Might depend on what you use Windows 98SE / XP / Vista or Linux / Apple, as to how you will be able to have 2.0
It would probably need you to fit an extra PC card. Some people on Ebay sell them or see the links below - first also has Firewire (some hard drives and video kit use this as it is also for fast data transfers).
If in doubt, might be worth asking in a local PC shop (small shop rather than PC World / Currys) for advice on fitting a card (can get price and compare with the ones listed - but remember they'd have postage on top)

You can add a USB 2.0 PCI card, which fits in a PCI slot inside your pc, this will give you an extra 4 or 5 usb 2.0 ports.

Unfortunately you cant change USB 1.1 into 2.0 but what you can do is buy a PCI USB 2.0 card ind install it inside the PC into one of the PCI slots that are available, they make external USB 2.0 cards but they wont work for you because you have to connect them to your USB slot that is built in.. The cards are very cheap now .. Hope this Helps ....Steve
