I agree that they are stupid but it doesn't bother me that much. You can just stock up before then. I grew up in New England where they were all called 'package stores' because you couldn't say the word 'liquor' or something. They pulled huge sheets down over the beer in the grocery store on Sunday. It never made any sense to me.
I live in NYC now and they still had the law that you couldn't by beer/liquor after 3am until about noon on Sunday. The bars were open until 4am so you could get it there but the stores had to stop selling it at 3am!! It caused so many fights late on Saturday night because the bars would close and then drunk people would go to the deli for more beer and most places refused to sell it.
I think I read recently that they changed the law here so that they can start selling it at 8am on Sunday now or something. It still doesn't make any sense. There are still 5 ridiculous hours where you can't by alcohol. Nonsense. It's pointless.

they're easily no longer the most archaic regulations, for that, short of a center jap united states ruled by ability of the Sharia regulation the position liquor is outright unlawful, you should come to the U. S.. In my city, you may't purchase liquor earlier 12 noon, no longer after 11 pm, won't be able to purchase it Sunday all day and also you may in undemanding words purchase Beer and flavored wine, no longer even real wine. yet, in case you want drugs all you should do is bypass to a particular homestead which each body on the city is universal with, the guy has been operating for years, the cops take a share of the proceeds and at the same time as someone complains he's "investigated" and no incorrect is got here across. you want archaic regulations and hypocrisy, you come to the sturdy ol' united states.

any law banning sunday sales of anything is ridiculus and shuld be unconstatushunal.
in south carolina you used to couldn't go shop at target or any other store before 130 (maybe that is still true), but you culd buy groshries or gas. so why is it ok to buy some stuff on sunday morning and not other stuff?
i thinkk it is time to pull the nashun into the 21st centry.

We have a sunday law too but you can't buy it before noon. I agree that it does infringe on other religious beliefs.
