I can't say whether I think this is true, however, I do enjoy the theory and would find it to be a memorable twist.
Maybe Rowling went through so much to describe how Harry parent's looked like him as a way of misdirection. Anytime a writer places an emphasis on something it generally has a purpose.

No, I don't see that at all. There have been a great many comments made comparing Harry to his father, and it has been difficult for Harry to accept some of the shall we say less attractive aspects of James's personality. Snape was horribly jealous of James and James treated him contemptuously and, to be frank, contemptibly. Snape has not had an easy life and I think we will find out some interesting things about him in the last book, but not that he's Harry's father.

Well considering harry is the spitting image of James (or whatever his dad's name is), and looks nothing like Snape I'd say No.
I do think Snape is a goody though and will betray Voldemort and get killed and Harold Potter will weep for him

Sorry but I very much doubt that Lily Potter got it on with Snape and sired Harry. Interesting idea but not convinced.

oh god yes. i imagine it would go a bit like this:
Snape: There is no escape. Don't make me destroy you. Harry, you do not yet realize your importance. You have only begun to discover your power. Join me, and I will complete your training. With our combined strength, we can end this destructive conflict and bring order to the wizzarding world.
Harry: I'll never join you!
Snape: If you only knew the power of the dark side... Dumbledore never told you what happened to your father.
Harry: He told me enough! He told me Voldomort killed him!
Snape: No, Harry... I am your father!
Harry: No. It can't be. That's not true. That's impossible!
Snape: Search your feelings Harry... you know them to be true.
Harry: NOOoooo!
Snape: Harry. You can destroy the dark lord. He has foreseen this. It is your destiny. Join me, and together we can rule the world. as father and son. Come with me. It is the only way.

I have to say, no. That would be an interesting twist, but I surely doubt that J.K. Rowling would do that. Even though she has been known to throw twists into her stories, I don't see that one happening. First off, she has painstakingly described Harry as looking just like Lilly and James Potter, and looking nothing at all like Snape. When Harry sees himself across the lake in Prisoner Of Azkaban, he thinks he's looking at his dad.
Snape doesn't like Harry because of an old grudge against James, and his allegiences for Dumbledore and Voldemort are very murky. But no, I don't think he is Harry's true father. That would mean that Lilly cheated on James, and I can't see Rowling putting that into the final book. She'd get hung for that, I'm sure.

I don't think Snape is his father, but do think Snape is somehow related. Maybe brother to Harry's mother.
