When society is ready for actual equality affirmative craption will have to go.
Just like the super-bigots jackson and sharpton, it only promotes bigotry, division, and hatred. It is simply meant to give darker skinned people the advantage.....when we are all just part of the human race.

The real solution to this is everyone realizing the importance of education, critical thinking, and learning skills, so that we can just pick from the top scoring candidates without regard to their race or gender. Affirmative action has created so much ill will among people because everyone nowdays questions wether or not someone in a position got it because they are truly qualified, or did they get it because of their race, etc? I'm with you - I'd rather just see them accept the top scorers on anything regardless of who they are, doing otherwise just lowers the standards and we end up having a bunch of people who are not the best at their profession
Addressing your original question - I don't see them getting rid of AA anytime soon, maybe someday when things get so bad that nothing can get done because people just don't know what they are really doing anymore, when we as a society have become so dumbed down that most of the truly smart people are on the outside looking in, and the people in all of these professional positions are their intellectual inferiors..... A sort of "The Marching Morons" (by C. M. Kornbluth) scenario, if you remember that story from the 1950s, about a future society where the average IQ was about 45, and most people couldn't think their way out of a wet paper bag - the small handful of people who kept that society running were a tiny group of overworked, unrecognized and despised people who spent all their time correcting mess-ups and tried to keep society running

No they probably will not. It helps people get where they might not have gotten in life. Just because someone is a different skin color does not mean they are not allowed the same rights as everyone else.

AA is unbeleivably unfair and it sucks but i guess whites have to suffer for what their great grandparents did and minorities get to benefit from what their ancient ancestors went through. Pretty retarded if you ask me.

So now we have racists whining that it's too hard to discriminate against minorities, and when are we gonna make it easier for you by eliminating the few safeguards minorities have...
