where does the English saying, 'keeping up with the Jones's ' come from? i have many friends called Jones, but non have been know to SHOW off their wealth..

they were a family that had it all, keeping up with the jones

then they got addicted to drugs, coke i think, hence

Well Jones is Welsh and considering they are the true Brits guess thats where it comes from
